🏠 Address Information Guide
The Address section enables users to input and manage their Local and Permanent address details. This ensures HR and Admin have your up-to-date contact and residence information for communication and official documentation.

- Click the Profile Icon from the left sidebar (bottom).
- Select the Address tab at the top of the profile section.
📍 Address Sections Overview
There are two address types to be filled:
🔹 Local Address
This is your current place of residence, typically where you're staying during employment.

| House No.* | Building or flat number. |
| Street Name* | Street or road name. |
| Area Locality* | Local neighborhood, colony, or sector. |
| Landmark* | A nearby landmark for easier identification (e.g., Near HDFC ATM). |
| Postal Code* | 6-digit PIN/ZIP code of the area. |
| City* | Select your residing city. |
| State* | Choose your state from the dropdown. |
| Country* | Select the country (e.g., India). |
| Stay Duration in Years* | How long you’ve been living at this address (in years). |
🔹 Permanent Address
Your official permanent address (as per government ID or family residence).
If this is the same as your local address, you can use the Same as Local Address feature.

| ✅ Same as Local Address | When checked, it auto-fills the Permanent Address using the Local Address fields. Saves time and avoids duplication. |
If unchecked, all fields (similar to Local Address) become editable separately.
✍️ Actions
- After filling the required fields, click Save at the bottom right of the respective section.
- If no changes are made, or you want to cancel the entry, click Cancel.
✅ Best Practices
- Always keep your Local Address up to date, especially if you move during your employment.
- Use clear and complete entries to avoid confusion in document deliveries.
- Permanent address must match what’s in your official ID (Aadhaar, PAN, etc.).
🧠 Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
1. What is considered a Local vs Permanent address?
- Local Address: Your current place of residence (e.g., rented flat or working city). - Permanent Address: Your hometown or family home as per official records.
2. Can I skip entering a Permanent Address?
No. Both Local and Permanent addresses are mandatory, unless you select “Same as Local Address.”
3. I moved recently. Should I update my Local Address?
Yes. Always keep your Local Address updated to reflect your current place of stay.
4. I don't remember my stay duration. What should I enter?
Enter an approximate duration in years. For example, 6 months = 0.5 years.
5. Why can’t I save the address form?
Ensure that: - All mandatory fields (marked with
*) are filled - Dropdowns like City and State are selected
